1920s Set Mason's Ironstone Blue Mandalay Porcelain Coffee Cups Saucers Milk & S. 1920s Set Set of 3 Mason's Ironstone Blue Mandalay Fine Porcelain 3 Coffee Cups & 3 Saucers with a large Milk Jug Container and Sugar Dish. Comes with an extra saucer cup that has lots of crazing from age and use, and a darkening of the bottom sides as in photos. There is also a little bit of crazing on all of the other cups. Items in this Lot Include the Following. Sugar Dish = 4" Wide X 2" High - Milk Container = 6.5" Wide X 6" High - Coffee Cups = 4" Wide X 3" High - Coffee Saucer = 6.5 Wide. Light unobtrusive amounts of crazing on a small percentage of plates, and some of the gold plating has worn away in the food areas of the plate.

My thoughts are that the previous owners had a small family of maybe 2 people, therefore only one or two plates were ever used. After that it appears the majority of this porcelain collection remained in storage, in an unused state for decades, almost a century even. Fantastic condition given these were made in the 1920s. Many of the goods i sell are vintage and antique, please note when stuff gets old it becomes more fragile and delicate.
