Antique Coalport Porcelain Tea Cup & Saucer - circa 1830 A fine early 19th-century English porcelain tea cup and saucer by Coalport, dating to circa 1830 (late Georgian / early Victorian period). This elegant set is hand-painted and richly gilded, featuring classical rococo scrollwork and floral basket (cornucopia) decoration, a style strongly associated with Coalport production of the 1820s-1830s. The underside bears the hand-applied factory decorator's pattern number "98", a traditional internal reference used by Coalport painters to identify individual designs. These numbers were not commercial pattern names and were commonly used during early 19th-century production.
