Fischer & Mieg Pirkenhammer Cobalt & Gold Leaf Coffee Cup & Saucer C. 1873-1918
Fischer & Mieg Pirkenhammer Cobalt & Gold Leaf Coffee Cup & Saucer C. Decorated with a wide band of cobalt blue and bands of gold gilding framed in thin black intertwined with gold gilt leaves. Has a wide band of gilding on the inside of the cup and gold and black to the handle. The saucer is marked on the bottom with the green crossed hammers mark used by Fischer & Mieg / Pirkenhammer between 1873 and 1918. Has some minor wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
The cup measures approximately 3 1/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 3/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 4 3/4 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
