Japanese Porcelain Chocolate Pot with5 Cup & Saucer Set Nippon Green Wreath Mark

  

Lidded Chocolate Pot and 5 Cup & Saucer Set. Made in Japan, t he fine porcelain set is exquisitely hand painted in turquoise blue, pink, green and black colors with heavy gold trim (resembling Cloisonne to me).

Marked Nippon with the green Morimura wreath mark introduced in 1911, possibly in use until 1921. MEASUREMENT: Chocolate Pot is 7 1/2 inches high (9 1/2 inches including the lid). The cups are 2 7/8 inches high and the saucers are 5 inches in diameter. CONDITION: Excellent antique estate condition.

Free from chips, cracks, crazing, stains or repairs. Has typical minor gold wear from use on some of the saucers and cup handles as shown in the last photo. One cup has been professionally restored.
