Antique Royal Crown Derby Coffee Cup & Saucer, Exceptional Flowers & Gilding

  

CONDITION: Excellent, without defects of any kind. This porcelain coffee cup and saucer was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby in 1919. The date cipher indicate this year.

The saucer is 5 1/8 inches in diameter. The cup is 2 1/2 inches tall with a diameter of 2 7/8 inches. The set is made of fine, white, bone china. It is hand painted with spectacular flowers in vibrant Imari style colors. The decorations are enhanced with elaborate raised gilding.

The rims and handle are trimmed with rich gold. The decoration on this cup and saucer remind my of fireworks in the sky. The Post Office requires this.
