New Hall Antique Porcelain 524 Cobalt & Gold Acorn Set - RARE. 8 Tea Cups and Saucers (saucer diameter 14 cms). 4 Coffee Cans (diameter 8.5 cms).

1 Bowl (diameter 16 cms). All items are understood to be New Hall Pattern 524 Cobalt & Gold Acorn, c. Decorated with stylised oak leaves and acorns in underglaze blue with rich gilded decoration and fine twisting tendrils in between and framed with gilded bands.

Unmarked (other than a red 524 marking on underside of bowl), illustrated in plate 251 "New Hall" by Holgate. Generally in very good, used condition and as seen on photos with some wear particularly to the acorn patterns on the saucers and to the gilt. One saucer has a small chip (seen in close up). These are a family set and have been in a display cabinet for many years - they have not been used in my lifetime. Collection in Richmond (TW10) or Suffolk (IP16) preferred or I will wrap securely and send at cost.
