Rare Royal Albert RUBY Red & Pink Roses Cup & Saucer SUMMER BOUNTY Series 1960s
This is a fancy cabinet set with heavy gold gilding. SUMMER BOUNTY series and the specific pattern is RUBY. Dark red and blush pink roses and leaves on pure white bone china. Scalloped body shape of cup which is mirrored on the saucer edges. The cup exterior is completely patterned as is the saucer and the cup interior. Virtually perfect condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, staining, other damage or restoration on either piece - they both pass the ping test perfectly. No wear to the floral pattern on cup interior or saucer exterior.
A few extra smudges of gold on handle and on inner cup from original factory production. Cup measures 3" tall at sides and is 4 1/4" across including handle; saucer is 5 1/2 across. The cup is marked with the standard Royal Albert crown mark in black and saucer is marked as shown in photo with Royal Albert crown mark, Summer Bounty Series and pattern name. Please ignore all white spots on all photos caused by camera flash. This lovely set would make a great addition to your collection.
