Antique Eugene Clauss Demitasse Cup & Saucer, Lily of the Valley

  

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in France by Boudois & Bloch in the 1880s. The saucer is 4 inches in diameter and the cup is 1 7/8 inches. The porcelain has a molded swirl pattern. Sweet little lilies of the valley are hand painted in bunches around each piece. Apple green borders are embellished with ornate raised gold designs.

The rims and handle are accented with gold. The Post Office requires this.
