Jean Pouyat Limoges Porcelain Cups & Saucers Pink Roses & Gold Trim c. 1890

  

This delicate 10-piece set by Jean Pouyat (JPL) Limoges features five hand-decorated demitasse cups and matching saucers adorned with soft pink rose bouquets and verdant green foliage. The rims are finished with lustrous gold gilt, lending an air of refinement to each piece. The translucent white porcelain showcases the fine craftsmanship characteristic of Pouyat's late 19th to early 20th century production. Cup dimensions: 1.75" high × 4.5" long with handle × 3.5 diameter.

Saucer dimensions: 5.5 diameter. Condition: One saucer bears a minor chip on the outer rim (see photo); otherwise, the set remains in very good condition with minimal wear to the gilding or floral transfers.

Marked with the green J. France underglaze, confirming its origin in the revered Limoges region and typical of pieces produced between 1890 and 1932. Ideal for collectors, tea service display, or adding a romantic French accent to a curated cabinet.
