CONDITION: Excellent, without defects of any kind. Bone China tea cup and saucer produced in England by Royal Crown Derby in 1904. The date cipher indicates this year. This particular shape was used by Derby in the 1770 with an example at the Victoria & Albert Museum.

The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/8 inches and is 1 inch deep. The cup is 1 7/8 inches high with a diameter of 3 inches. An interesting feature of this set is the molded design on the bottom of the cup and well of the saucer accented with gold. Trim around the boarders is cobalt blue.

The winding tendrils of leaves and rose wreathes are hand painted. The rims and handle are trimmed with gold.

This set has classic Edwardian style. The Post Office requires this.
