Set of 6 Nippon Hand Painted Pink Roses Cobalt & Gold Demitasse Cups & Saucers Set of 6 antique Japanese porcelain demitasse cup and saucers. Decorated with hand painted dark and light pink roses and small purple flowers with gold scrollwork over a white background. With cobalt and gold scrollwork border. Gold gilding along the edge. Unmarked, but probably made during the Nippon era of Japanese porcelain, circa 1891 to 1921.

These have some wear to the gilding. Some of the cups have gilded over in manufacture chips to the rim and one saucer has a small in manufacture firing separation extending off the back edge. Each cup measures approximately 3 1/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/4 inches tall. Each saucer measures approximately 4 1/2 inches wide. These are antiques and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the pieces.
