1920's Radford Fenton Gold And Hand Painted 4 Tea And 4 Coffee Cups & Saucers

  
This lovely set of 4 tea cups and saucers, 4 coffee cups and saucers and matching cake plate dates back to the 1920's It comes from Radford Fenton in the Potteries. I have researched dozens of patterns and these pieces are so rare that I think they were made exclusively for what nowadays would be called a'high end' retailer. They are lavishly decorated in gold with a hand painted flower design, the flowers are very slightly raised to the touch from the background. All the pieces are in perfect condition. They have been stored away and have never seen the inside of a dishwasher! The diameter of the plate is 25 cms/9.5 inches, the height of the tea cup is 9cm/3.5inches, the coffee cup is 7 cms/.
