Set of 4 Haviland Limoges white & gold cups & saucers, Schleiger 216, 1900-1920

  

This is a beautiful, elegant set, in a rare pattern. At the time of this listing, I found only a few serving pieces for sale in Schleiger 216. While the spoons are not antique, I love the look of gold demitasse spoons with gold and white sets, so I have included the 4 spoons shown in the photos with this set.

It has all of the quality Haviland is known for, with light yet surprisingly strong porcelain that has a level of translucency when held up to the light. And, with Limoges porcelain, you also don't have to worry about lead, as it was not used (per Haviland online and other searches).

This set would be a wonderful gift, or addition to a collection. The cups measure 3 5/8 across without the handle, 4 1/4" with the handle, and 1 3/4" high.

The saucers are 5 3/8 in diameter. I hope you will love the item you receive as much as I loved it when I found it - they are all things that found a place in my vintage loving heart. Because many of my items are vintage or antique, they will not all be perfect. I point out aging issues or potential flaws that I detect, and supplement with pictures.
