Set of 4 Tuscan Bone China Heather Cobalt & Gold Hand Colored Tea Cups & Saucers Set of 4 very pretty porcelain bone china tea cups and saucers decorated in the Heather 7916 pattern. With cobalt blue bands with gold gilt laurel leaf overlay above hand colored fruit berries in purple, pink, and yellow. Marked on the bottom in green Plant Tuscan China Made in England. This mark was used by Richard Hammersley Plant and his brother Simon Lucas Plant's Tuscan China between 1936 and 1947. Some of the pieces are marked with the pattern name Heather and some are marked with the pattern number 7916. These have minor wear to the gilding, mostly on the handles of the cups and the edge of the saucers. Otherwise excellent condition with no chips or cracks to any of the pieces. Each cup measures approximately 4 1/2 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/4 inches tall. Each saucer measures approximately 5 3/4 inches wide. Vintage items may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the pieces.
