Rare and very pretty set of Seltmann Weiden Bavaria Heavy Gilded Antique Demitasse Cups and Saucers (6). The pieces in this set are beautifully hand painted with gold filigree decorations and beautiful blue painted panels.

Cups are heavily gilded inside and feature a nice tall pedestal foot. The cups are small, 1.75 tall 2.27 wide (including handle).

Its a beautiful, unusual display set marked with Seltmann mark used from early 1920s to early 1940s. All cups and saucers are in mint condition, except one (tiny chip on the inside with thin hairline). Please refer to last picture. It is a beautiful and unusual set with thin, eggshell like porcelain texture.

It would be perfect for displaying purposes and would add charm and sophistication to a collection of vintage/antique porcelain.
