Ambrosius Lamm Dresden Courting Couple Blue Raised Gold Oversized Cup & Saucer Beautiful oversized porcelain cup and saucer. Decorated in a blue pale. With a hand painted courting couple scene opposite the handle on the cup framed in gold gilt beading and raised gold scrollwork and lattice designs. With raised gold gilt floral garlands, scrollwork and lattice designs along the top of the cup on both the inside and outside, and along the edge of the saucer. Has a gold lattice and scrollwork design below the handle of the cup. Gold gilding to the handle. The well / center of the saucer has a raised gold gilt monogram. Marked on the bottom with a blue lamb above Dresden Germany. This mark was used by Ambrosius Lamm in Dresden Germany between 1891 and 1914.

Excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The cup measures approximately 4 1/8 inches wide including the handle x 3 1/2 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 6 1/2 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
