This porcelain cup & saucer was produced in England by Copelands in the 1870s. This set was produced especially for Tiffany in New York. The saucer has a diameter of 5 3/8 inches and the cup is 2 5/8 inches high, 2 ¾ inches across the opening and 5 inches across the handles.
It is hand painted with tiny roses and intricately gilded. Quality of the painting is amazing as well it should be when Tiffany commissioned this particular pattern.
It is a beautiful example of Copeland's work. CONDITION: Excellent, no wear, no crazing in the glaze.
