CONDITION: Excellent, without defects of any kind. This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Davenport in the 1860s. There is a barely visible impressed mark. The saucer is 4 7/8 inches in diameter. The cup is 2 inches tall with a diameter of 3 inches.
The set is made of fine, white bone china. The cup features 3 little ball feet. There a reserve on each piece containing landscapes with buildings, painted in shades of blue. They are framed in gilded frames, surrounded by raised gold leaves, flowers and butterflies. The rims and handle are trimmed in gold.
