Antique French Empire Old Paris Porcelain 22K Gilded Coffee Cup and Saucer

  

Old Paris / Vieux Paris porcelain Empire Form Cup & Saucer that were hand-crafted and hand-painted in early 19 century. Both are decorated with intricate geomentic ornament on a cherry background. The saucer has a matching design.

With heavy gold gilding along the lip, around the foot rim, and around the edge of the saucer. Partially gold interior to the cup and gold highlights to the handle. Neither piece is marked which is common for Paris makers around that time. I would say, it's not just a cup and saucer but a collector's item, a piece of history that can be shared and appreciated. Diameter of cup: 3 inches. Height to top of handle: 4 inches. Diameter of saucer: 5.25 inches.

Very good antique condition wear consistent with age and use. Minor gold wear on top of the handle. Minimal wear given the fact it is over 200 years old.

No cracks, hairlines, chips, crazing, restorations or discoloration. Please see pictures for details.
