Antique Royal Crown Derby Blue Peacock pattern. 22 piece Tea Set consisting of. 2 Bread & Butter / Cake Plates. Backstamp is from the Derby Crown period c1877 - 1890. All items feature this backstamp except 2 cups.

Manufactured in the Osmaston Crown Derby Factory. Tea set with generally minimal gilt wear which has been itemised below for clarity. Great condition overall (some excellent) with minimal and a some light surface utensil. Cups have no surface wear.

There is the odd speck of kiln grit which is usual in cups of this era of manufacture. One cup has wear to rim and handle gilt. Four cups have slight or some wear to rim gilt.

Saucers have no signs of surface use. Three saucers have slight gilt wear to rims. Three side plates have some gilt wear to rims. One other side plate has two small nibbles to rim and a hairline crack which passes casual inspection and remains fit for purpose or display. Cake plates in excellent condition with no signs of surface use and gilt being intact. Transfers and colours are intact. Cup Height: 2 5/8 or 6.75 cm. Cup Rim Diameter: 2 7/8 or 7.5 cm. Saucer Diameter: 5.25 or 13.5 cm. Side Plate Diameter: 7 or 17.5 cm. Cake Plate Diameter: 9.25 or 23.5 cm. I may also have other Royal Crown Derby items listed - please visit my shop. Condition Grading - I generally use the scale: Poor; Fair; Good; Great; Excellent (mint/as new including first or second quality). Listing - Any and all aspects (photos, specifics, details, descriptions etc) are contributory to the item description, so please ensure you have viewed and read the complete listing. In the very unlikely event of breakage contact me with photos of the item to see if a replacement is available before opening a time bound case (if you open a time bound case I may not be able to get a replacement to you in time). You can still open a case later if not happy.

All packaging is recycled (which takes time to obtain/sort) without compromising safe transit. All soft goods and ephemera is wrapped to prevent water damage in transit. Drop off service requiring a vehicle is timetabled to prevent single use journeys. All paperwork uses recycled paper. All waste is recycled appropriately whenever possible.
