C. Ahrenfeldt Limoges Depose Gold-Encrusted (Set of 6) Demitasse Cups & Saucers
We are pleased to offer this exquisite set of six Charles Ahrenfeldt demitasse cups and saucers, expertly crafted in Limoges, France, from high-quality porcelain made expressly for Ovington's of New York and Chicago between 1894 and 1930. The Ahrenfeldt and Ovington's company marks, along with the Limoges Déposé backstamp, are all found under the glaze, attesting to the authenticity and exceptional craftsmanship of this set. A timeless expression of luxury, each piece showcases intricate gold-encrusted detailing, gracefully hand-decorated on a pristine white background and accented with elegant gilt handles. This rare set exemplifies the refined artistry and superior craftsmanship that define both Charles Ahrenfeldt porcelain and the legacy of Ovington's fine wares. 6 Demitasse Cups: 3" wide (including handle) x 2 1/8" diameter x 2 1/8 high. 6 Saucers: 4 1/2 in diameter. The set is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing. Minor surface/gold wear may be present, but nothing significant and absolutely does not detract from the appearance of this beautiful set.
