Coalport Rococco 1850 Split Handle with Ivy Finial Cup & Saucer Richly Gilded

  

This is an absolutely stunning cup and saucer made in c1850 by Coalport. The cup and saucer is potted in the foliage style with moulded acanthus leaves on both item, picked off in very lavish and stunning gilt.

The cup is painted internally with gilt floral patterns. Both pieces have a printed pattern number 5/1802 in red. Free of any damage, crazing or repair.

The cup is approx: h - 5.2cm. The saucer is approx: 14 cm.
