Dresden Hand Painted Floral Swags Purple & Gold Covered Chocolate Cup & Saucer. Nice quatrefoil shaped double handled porcelain chocolate cup and saucer. Decorated with hand painted floral swags in pink, orange, white, purple, and yellow. With gold gilt designs and a border of purple fish-scales.

Marked on the bottom with a blue crown over Dresden. This mark was used by Donath in Dresden Germany between 1893 and 1916.

Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. The cup measures approximately 4 7/8 inches wide from handle to handle x 4 1/4 inches tall to the top of the lid finial.

The saucer measures approximately 5 3/4 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
