FA Schumann Berlin / Nathusius Hand Painted Floral & Gold Cup & Saucer 1826-1860

  
Decorated with hand painted flowers in pink, blue, and red-orange with elaborate gold gilt scrollwork. Gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the bottom with an underglaze blue line. A blue underglaze line is attributed to both Friedrich Adolph Schumann of Berlin between 1835 and 1840 and Gottlob Nathusius of Althaldensleben between 1826 and 1860.

Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. The cup measures approximately 4 1/4 inches wide including the handle x 3 7/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 3/4 inches wide.
