It was produced by a French maker widely recognized for its fine porcelain, which is painted entirely by hand. The white design is raised a little bit. On the bottom are words written in French. This set pattern is called "Dentelle Or" (Golden Lace).

World famous Tiffany's which acquired Le Tallec in the early 90's liquidated the business in 2014. The cup measures 2 1/2" tall by 2 3/4" wide. The plate is 5 in diameter.
