Beautiful and elegant large deep pink rose with predominant cobalt blue bands and extensive gold filigree and gilded details. Double Warrant Paragon mark indicating production 1938 to 1952. This set likely most dates from the 1940s. Note the completely gilded cup footed base and the entire handle.
Larger in size than normal teacups. Mint condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, staining, other damage or restoration on either cup or saucer; both pass the bone china ping test. No wear to the floral transfer noted. The gold trim is 99.99% intact.
Cup measures 2 1/4" tall at sides (2 1/2" tall to top of handle) and entire cup is 4 7/8" across including handle; saucer is 5 7/8" across. Marked was shown in photo with pattern number A1033 and Y handpainted in dark burned orange along with decorator initials. Please ignore all white spots on all photos caused by camera flash. This lovely set would make a beautiful addition to your collection or a perfect gift.
