Paragon RED PINK YELLOW ROSE TRIO CUP & SAUCER Set c1938-52 Heavy Gold Gilding

  
Incredibly lush floral design of large roses - red, dark pink and yellow and leaves. Note the completely gold gilded handle and thick cup base. Simply incredible - one of the nicest cups and saucers I have ever had. Paragon double warrant shield mark used 1938-52.

Virtually mint condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, staining, other damage or restoration on either cup or saucer and both pass the "ping" test perfectly. No wear to the floral transfer; very slight rubbing to the gold on underside handle and a tiny pin head rub to very very top of handle.

Cup measures 2 1/8" tall at sides (2 1/2" tall to top of handle) and entire cup is 4 7/8" across including handle; saucer is 5 1/2" across. Marked as shown in photo A694/5 and decorator initials handpainted in dark orange on saucer base. Please ignore all white spots on all photos caused by camera flash. This lovely set would make a beautiful addition to your collection or a perfect gift. I do try and describe my items accurately.
