"HUGE JOHNSON FLOATING RED ROSE". Cobalt Blue and Gold Garland Filigree. Stunning design of an elegant huge floating dark red rose in full bloom with green leaves. Set against a dark cobalt blue body with gold garland filigree details. This is the famous "Reg Johnson" rose pattern although this set is not signed. The cup interior and saucer recess patterns are identical.

One of the most beautiful cups and saucers I have ever owned. Both cup and saucer are in perfect condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, other damage or restoration. Both pieces pass the ping test of bone china perfectly. No wear to transfer; no wear to trim; one tiny scratch to the rose petal on the saucer. Cup measures 2 1/8" tall at sides and 2 1/4" to top of handle and is 4 3/4" across including handle; the saucer is 5 3/8" across.
