Royal Albert OLD ENGLISH ROSE Cup & Saucer TREASURE CHEST Series Heavy Gold Gild

  

This is a fancy cabinet set with extensive gold sprayed gilding. Quality of Aynsley or Paragon. Pronounced scalloped body shape of cup which is mirrored on the saucer.

This is the AVON shape. Mint condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, staining, other damage or restoration on either piece - they both pass the ping test perfectly. No wear to the floral pattern on cup interior or saucer exterior. No wear to gold trim.

It does not appear to have been used. Cup measures 2 3/8" tall at sides; 2 3/4" tall to top of handle and is 4 3/4" across including handle; saucer is 5 3/8" across. Marked as shown in photo with standard Royal Albert crown mark. Please ignore all white spots on all photos caused by camera flash. This lovely set would make a great addition to your collection or a lovely gift. Please examine all photos to make your own determination of condition. Please remember that my items are vintage and not store-bought-new and some minor wear from age and use should be expected. I do try and describe my items accurately.
