Royal Albert RED and WHITE ROSE Cup & Saucer TREASURE CHEST Series Heavy Gold

  

This is a fancy cabinet set with extensive heavy brushed gold gilding. Elegant dark red and white roses and leaves on a pure white background. Pronounced scalloped body shape of cup which is mirrored on the saucer.

This is the AVON shape. Virtually mint condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, staining, other damage or restoration on either piece - they both pass the ping test perfectly.

No wear to the floral pattern on cup interior or saucer exterior. No wear to the gold, which has a lovely patina. Cup measures 2 3/8" tall at sides; 2 3/4" tall to top of handle and is 4 7/8" across including handle; saucer is 5 1/2" across. Marked as shown in photo with Royal Albert crown mark and Treasure Chest series name. Please ignore all white spots on all photos caused by camera flash.

This lovely set would make a great addition to your collection or a lovely gift. I do try and describe my items accurately.
