Hand painted with a band of purple flowers. The head of the swan on handle is gilded. Has a gold flower in the center of the saucer and gold gilding along the edge of both the cup and saucer. Marked on the bottom with an underglaze blue S. This mark was used by Lippert & Haas in Schlaggenwald between 1810 and 1820.
Also has the pattern number 205.2 on the bottom in purple. Has some wear to the gilding, and a tight crack through the base of the handle, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. The cup measures approximately 4 inches wide including the handle x 3 1/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 1/2 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
