Set of 4 Nippon Hand Painted Gold Scrollwork Medallions Tea Cups & Saucers. Set of 4 antique Japanese porcelain tea cups and saucer. Decorated with a hand painted raised and beaded gold gilt medallion and scrollwork pattern with ivory panels along the edge.
Marked on the reverse with a blue Hand Painted Nippon mark with a Maruki symbol in this center. This mark was used between 1912 and 1921.
These have some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. Each cup measures approximately 4 3/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 inches tall. Each saucer measures approximately 5 1/2 inches wide.These are antiques and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the pieces.
