The white surface of the saucer also has a few faint scratches, likely from the cup base. Note that the cup has a bright gold trim whereas the saucer has a more burnished gold trim (achieved by a rough buff); this indicates that they were manufacturered at different times but still an exact match of the floral pattern. Cup measures 2 1/8" tall at sides and 2 1/4" to top of handle and is 5" across including handle; the saucer is 5 1/2" across.
Marked as shown in photo with pattern A1452 handpainted in burned orange on the saucer base; the saucer and cup marks are different as noted above. This wonderful set would make a great addition to complete your Paragon teacup collection or a great gift. Please examine all photos to make your own determination of condition.
