One of the most fabulous patterns I have ever seen, and I have searched for more, but it is elusive. The pattern has so much gold, that it is breath taking. It has light touches of green, and a beautifully painted arrangement of flowers in the centre. It may be by Spode, but no mark only a pattern number. 6614 The is no mark as it was made for an exclusive London shop, so had their name stamped on it, which was popular at the time.

The name of the business was J Green and Sons, and their premises was 29-11 St Paul's Churchyard, London, a very prestigious address. He is listed as being there in 1834, which is about the right date for the porcelain. There are a matching set of a large plate with handles and two tea cups. 9" x 10 1/4"- plate A rare find.
