Vintage Paragon Pale Pink & Gold Gilt Cabbage Rose Fine Bone China Cup & Saucer

  

Offered for sale is a stunning tea cup and saucer manufactured by Paragon during the 1930s. The set is in the #A743/5 pattern and it is made of white bone china with a pale pink or cream color on the outside of the cup and the exterior band of the saucer.

The cup and saucer feature a large pink cabbage rose in the center with green leaves, and the both pieces are accented in gold gilt on the rims in addition to having a gold gilt grape and leaf motif. Overall the cups stand about 1 1/2" tall and the saucer measures approximately 4 1/4" in diameter. This is a stunning set that is highly sought after! The overall condition of the set is near perfect. It is extremely clean with bright white bone china and it has no chips, cracks, or repaired areas.

The hand-painted details are bold with no loss or wear, and the glaze is glossy with no crazing. I see minor surface wear and the gold gilt is all intact.
