Zachariah Boyle Hand Painted Floral Cobalt & Gold Tea Cup & Saucer Circa 1840s B Nice antique bone china Rococo style tea cup and saucer. With hand painted flowers in pink, purple, blue, red, and to the inside of the cup. Has a cobalt border with gold gilt floral scrollwork designs on the outside of the cup and edge of the saucer. Gold highlights to the relief molding along the foot rim and lid finial. Marked with the pattern number 1007 in red. Has heavy crazing and some wear to the gilding, and a curved tight crack to the sauce between the edge and the foot rim, but otherwise good condition. The cup measures approximately 4 1/2 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/2 inches tall.

The saucer measures approximately 5 7/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
