Decorated with hand painted flowers in red, white, purple, yellow, blue and orange. Gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the bottom with the underglaze blue crossed swords mark a dot. This mark was used by the Meissen factory between 1763 to 1774.
Has some wear to the gilding, wear consistent with age and use, and a tight crack through the base of the handle. The cup measures approximately 3 7/8 inches wide including the handle x 1 7/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 1/4 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
