Bowers Hand painted Floral Blue & Gold Tea Cup & Saucer C. Decorated on the inside with hand painted pink, purple, blue, red, white, and yellow flowers. Has a blue border with gold floral grapes and scrollwork.

Unmarked except for the pattern number 1148 in red. Has crazing typical of bone china, wear to the gilding, staining, a tight crack extending off the lip of the cup, a curved tight crack around the well of the saucer, an in manufacture firing separation through the handle, and a small flake to the foot rim of the saucer.

The cup measures approximately 5 1/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 3/4 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 7/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
