Rare Antique Meissen Richly Gilded & Floral Decorated Large Covered Cup & Saucer

  
We are pleased to offer you an attractive and rare large antique. Meissen white tea set (cup with cover and deep sizable saucer). Because of its size and shape, this set could be a personal covered soup bowl as well. All three pieces have an unusual design, as well as embossed rich gilded decorations e.

Rims, and around floral cameos, beautiful flower bouquets (three on each piece), and elegant finial flower (rose) with two leaves. Cup with Cover and Saucer are in excellent used condition without cracks, chips, repairs, etc.

Only age appropriate ware e. Partial loss of gold decorations and tiny fleas on the cover inner rim. It is truly magnificent set.

Cup: top/bottom Dia=5 1/2"x2 1/2", L(with handle)=6 1/2", H=4" (6 with cover & finial). Saucer: top(average)/bottom Dia=8 1/4"x4 1/4", H=2. Each under-glazed blue crossed sword marks, Meissen's famous logo introduced in 1720.
