Schlaggenwald Gold Heart Anchor & Floral Scrolls Empire Form Cup & Saucer C 1800 Beautiful rare empire form porcelain cup and saucer. Decorated with hand gilded floral scrollwork with cross, heart, and anchor. Marked on the bottom with an underglaze blue S.

This mark was used by Lippert & Haas in Schlaggenwald between 1793 and 1812. Has some minor wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. The cup measures approximately 3 3/4 inches wide including the handle x 3 3/4 inches tall.

The saucer measures approximately 5 1/2 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
