Both the cup and saucer are smooth rimmed. This makes a beautiful display set or can be used everyday. CONDITION: While this set is classified as used, the condition is superb. There are no chips, nicks, cracks, rubbings, scratches or hairlines.
There are no utensil marks & no wear to the gold. DIMENSIONS: The cup has a diameter of 2 1/4" with a height of 2 1/4".The saucer has a diameter of 4 5/8" and height of 9/16". HISTORY/MARKS: Carl Magnus Hutschenreuther formed his company in 1814 in Hohenberg an der Eger, Bavaria and his son, Lorenz Hutschenreuther formed his company in 1857 in Selb, Bavaria. This latter company acquired P. Porcelain Factory in 1927 and then in 1969 was merged with the former company and continued operation as Hutschenreuther AG (Selb, Bavaria) until 1994 when the Tirschenreuth factory was closed due to bankruptcy. This set has the underglaze Z.
