6 x Antique c1833 Copeland & Garrett True Trio Gold Gilt Tea Coffee Cup & Saucer. The company was formed by William Taylor Copeland and Thomas Garrett in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England. They took over the business of the famous Josiah Spode after his death During their partnership, they produced a variety of high-quality earthenware, porcelain, and parian ware. Some of their notable products included figurines, vases, and tableware. They were particularly known for their statuary porcelain (parian ware), which had a fine white, dense material with a marble-like finish.

In 1847, Thomas Garrett retired, and William Taylor Copeland continued the business on his own, eventually forming W. Inspection notes 3 coffee cup crazed /7 discoloured3 coffee cups have some crazing in places. 2 coffee cups have hairline. 4 teacups have rim hairline (three are very tiny) No crazing to teacups. 5 saucers no damage but all in the set have some gilt wear.

1 saucer some discolour to rim area, crazing, and a small rim chip. Please take a close examination of all images for a clear inspection of this item condition as part of the description. All antiques are likely to have age related wear that may be found but not noted including small scratches or organic firing flaws / kiln marks. All items are extremely well packaged.
