Antique Royal Vienna Hand Painted Angelic Annunciation to the Virgin Mary Cup & Saucer Set. Beautifully hand painted moving depiction of the Virgin Mary accepting the angelic news to carry the Son of God. Mary stands between the angel Gabriel and a wise man who bears gifts for the king. The painting is exquisitely done by a master artist, embellished with lustrous gold jeweling set on a raspberry red ground.
And a thick lining of gold interior. Excellent condition, free from chips, cracks and repairs with unremarkable loss of gold. Cup: 2.75" tall with a 2.75" diameter rim.
