Bruges Vieux Bruxelles Grisaille Hand Painted Farmer Gold Coffee Cup & Saucer A. Nice antique Belgian porcelain coffee cup or coffee can and saucer. The cup is painted in Grisaille with a hand painted farmer sleeping against a tree and the saucer with a hand painted landscape scene with a building.

Gold gilding along the edge. The cup is marked on the bottom HP N 15 in gold. The HP mark was used by Bruges porcelain.

Probably circa 1790 to 1810. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. The cup measures approximately 3 3/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/2 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 inches wide.
