Chelsea Hand Painted Pink Roses Cobalt & Gold Coffee Cup & Saucer C. 1756-1769
Nice 18th century porcelain coffee cup and saucer. Decorated with hand painted pink roses and other flowers in purple, pink, orange, and blue. Has cobalt trim along the edge with scalloped gold gilding. Marked on the bottom with a gold anchor mark used by Chelsea. Has some wear consistent with age and use, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
The cup measures approximately 3 5/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 3/4 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 5/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
