ES Prussia Hand Painted Landscape Red Heavy Gold Turquoise Jeweled Cup & Saucer. Beautiful porcelain pedestal demitasse cup and saucer. Decorated with a small hand painted landscape scene on the front of the cup and in the well of the saucer framed by gold gilt beading. Has a red background with heavy gold gilding with small gold beads and slightly larger turquoise enameled beads. With raised gold star medallions around the top of the cup and border of the saucer. The cup has a fully gold handle and interior. Marked on the bottom in green Prov Saxe ES Germany.

This mark was used by Erdmann Schlegelmilch (ES Prussia / ES Germany) around circa 1902 and 1938. Has some minor wear to the gilding and a few small losses to the beading, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. The cup measures approximately 3 3/8 inches wide including the handle x 1 3/4 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 3 7/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
