This Demitasse Cup and Saucer Set is in absolutely unique Le Tallec Japon Pattern. It is reminiscent of famous Pate Sur Pate Technique! Celeste Background with White Enameling. Hand Painted and Hand Gilded. The set was made at Villa Faucheur in 1958 (before Le Tallec has started cooperation with Tiffany).

It is custom made for " FOR BLACK HAN of JUHANN (MUHANN)". Part of collection of rare cups and saucers, see last picture.

Mark: Le Tallec mark, cypher for 1958, painter initials JLC. Numbered 905 with inscription "for Black Han of Juhann or Muhann", hard to read. No chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Size:the cup is 2 1/2" tall and 2 3/8" wide. The saucer is 5 tall.
