Please read below for a condition report on this piece.. Listed is a magnificent set of coffee cups and saucers. Made in Limoges, France, by renowned. The pieces have a rich cobalt blue ground and are decorated with best quality gold gilt work which is superb, the tooled rims actually twinkle in the light. The overall quality is outstanding.

All the pieces ring beautifully when tapped and are free from damages and have no repairs, they've been well cared for. They were especially commissioned for Lawleys, Regent Street London. Only point to mention, there is some slight wear to the gilt on the inner gold band on the saucer, very minimal, see all pictures. Any flashes are from the camera. 6 x cups 2.25 inches high. 6 x saucers 4.75 inches. His work, often marked "Elté" or "Elté Limoges, " is known for its hand-painted floral designs and intricate details. He was a significant figure in the Limoges porcelain tradition, known for his unique and artistic creations.

My items are all vintage or antique items, therefore they will have signs of age, including stilt marks, wear to the gilding, utensil scratches, minor firing faults and natural, clean glaze crazing, which is inevitable, this is part of the ageing process.
