Meissen Hand Painted Pink Swansea Rose Pattern & Gold Tea Cup & Saucer Nice antique porcelain tea cup and saucer. Decorated in a "Swansea Rose" pattern with large pink roses with gold leaves with a gold gilt floral medallion in the center and a band of gold leaves around the center.

The tea cup is white on the outside with a band of gold leaves around the center. Gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the bottom with the blue underglaze crossed swords mark used by Meissen. Has some minor wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. The cup measures approximately 4 1/4 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 6 1/2 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
