"HUGE FLOATING RED JOHNSON ROSE". Cobalt Blue and Gold Garland Filigree. Stunning design of an elegant huge dark red rose in full bloom with green leaves. Set against a dark cobalt blue body with gold garland filigree details. This is the famous "Reg Johnson Rose" pattern although this set is not signed - collectors can recognize it immediately. The cup interior and saucer recess patterns are identical. One of the most beautiful cups and saucers I have ever owned. Saucer in perfect condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, other damage or restoration and pings perfectly.

Sadly the cup has a hairline crack on the side which is not generally visible from the front or top views. No wear to transfer; no wear to trim; a few minute surface scratches visible under strong light. Cup measures 2 1/8" tall at sides and 2 1/4" to top of handle and is 4 3/4" across including handle; the saucer is 5 3/8" across.

Please ignore all white spots on photos caused by camera flash. This stunning set would make a great addition to your collection even as a shelf piece. Condition is clearly noted in above description. Please examine all photos carefully. I do try and describe my items accurately.
